UPON ARRIVAL

When you arrive to Proficient Rehab, please enter the door on the side of the building. You will be greeted by one of the ladies at the front desk and they will get you checked in and ensure all of your information is complete and current. Please have a seat in our waiting area and feel free to help yourself to coffee.

FIRST SESSION

Your therapist will bring you back to our treatment area and will spend some time gathering information about your condition and your goals. We will then assess your mobility, strength, balance, etc. With some patients, we will get right to work with manual therapy and exercises. With other patients, we may postpone treatment until the next visit, depending on your needs.

This first session is often an hour or more because we want to make sure we have plenty of time to discuss your history and concerns as well as provide a throrough evaluation to build an individualized treatment plan to help you function better.
